ASCE 75 Rail Steel Grade & Material
We supply multiple steel grades for ASCE 75 rail to match diverse load, abrasion and budget demands, including U71Mn, 55Q and Q235B. High manganese grades like U71Mn deliver premium anti-wear and anti-fatigue performance for heavy crane, port and mining tracks, while carbon steel options 55Q and Q235B serve light-to-medium load industrial projects with cost-effective stability.

Applications of ASCE 75 Rail
Port Container Terminals
ASCE 75 rail supports RMG and ship-to-shore cranes. It bears heavy container loads and resists coastal humidity for long-term automated port operation.
Mining & Bulk Cargo Yards
Ideal for mine railways and ore storage yards. Superior wear resistance reduces maintenance under dusty, high-impact heavy haul conditions.
Steel Mills & Power Plants
Serves factory overhead and gantry cranes. High strength prevents rail head deformation under high temperature and frequent heavy lifting loads.
ASCE 75 Rail Export and Container Loading
We offer full export support for ASCE 75 rail shipments to global clients, covering complete customs clearance documents such as mill test certificates and third-party inspection reports from SGS or BV. Anti-rust coating and waterproof wrapping are available per customer requests, with matching rail accessories separately packed in solid wooden cases to prevent damage during ocean shipment. Flexible loading methods including full container loads and bulk vessel shipping are available, with professional fixing solutions to lock rails securely during long-distance transport. Our mature logistics network delivers orders to major ports across all continents to guarantee punctual delivery for your industrial and crane rail projects.
ASCE 75 Rail Supply and Quotation
Order ASCE 75 rail as rail-only supply or with associated components such as fish plates, rail clips, rubber pads and soleplates. The quotation identifies the rail grade, unit lengths, total quantity and any specified processing, so the supply scope is clear before the order is placed.
For pricing, send the required quantity, rail lengths, material specification and delivery destination. Include drawings where the order involves machined ends, drilled holes or matching joint components.

Does “75 lb rail” always mean ASCE 75 rail?
No. “75 lb rail” identifies a nominal weight per yard, but it does not uniquely identify the rail section. For a replacement order, confirm the ASCE profile using the section drawing, rail markings and principal dimensions. Weight alone is not enough to establish compatibility.
Can the existing joint bars be reused when replacing ASCE 75 rail?
Only if they match the replacement rail and remain serviceable. Check the joint-bar contact surfaces as well as the hole diameter, spacing and distance from the rail end. Aligned bolt holes alone do not prove a correct fit: the joint bar must also seat properly against the rail.
Can ASCE 75 rail be selected from the crane’s lifting capacity alone?
No. A crane’s rated lifting capacity is not the load acting on each wheel. Rail selection requires the wheel-load information and the runway design, including the wheel arrangement, rail support and fixing system. There is no single crane-tonnage rating that applies to every ASCE 75 installation.
Can ASCE 75 rail replace JIS 37A rail?
Not solely on the basis of their similar principal dimensions. First compare the complete section drawings. If the profiles match, also check the specified material, rail-end holes and joint-bar fit. For an existing crane track, the wheel contact and fastening arrangement must remain compatible. Treat the substitution as a technical comparison, not an automatic equivalent.
