Heavy rail refers to steel rails weighing 38kg/m or more. Heavy rail has the same cross-sectional shape as light rail. However, it features larger dimensions and greater weight per meter, delivers substantially higher load-bearing capacity. These rails power high-load applications including heavy-duty handling equipment, urban rail transit, and subway systems.

Compared to carbon steel, U71Mn offers superior strength, hardness and wear resistance, while maintaining excellent toughness and fatigue resistance, perfect for rail projects requiring high strength and long service life.
