Installation of W216 Rail Clip
The W216 welded base clip must be securely welded to the supporting structure or crane beam using a 4 mm fillet weld.
Use low-hydrogen electrodes such as AWS E7018 or E7028 to ensure a clean, strong weld.
For installations without a rubber pad, omit the weld closest to and parallel with the rail.
If you require a steel soleplate, GloryTrack can supply and pre-weld the base according to your drawings, followed by galvanization upon request.
