W220 Rail Clip

Installation of W220 Rail Clip
- Step 1 – Weld Base
Weld the clip base to the support beam using 5 mm fillet welds, leaving the side parallel to the rail unwelded. Use low-hydrogen electrodes (AWS E7018 / E7028) for high-strength bonding. - Step 2 – Position Clip
Place the forged clip so the rubber block presses firmly against the rail flange. - Step 3 – Insert and Tighten Bolts
Insert the M20 bolt and washer, tighten lightly until the clip contacts the rail securely. - Step 4 – Final Torque
Tap the clip for precise alignment, then torque the bolt to 350 Nm to lock the assembly firmly.
