ISCOR 22kg Rail

ISCOR 22 kg Rail, named for its 22.54 kg/m theoretical weight under original ISCOR South African SABS industrial rail standards (also referred to as ISCOR 22kg Light Rail or Type 22 ISCOR Rail), is a narrow-gauge industrial rail hot-rolled from Grade 700 / 900A carbon manganese steel to balance tensile strength and wear resistance. With symmetrical equal height & base width profile and solid thick web, it withstands moderate haulage wheel loads and frequent track impacts. The ISCOR 22 kg rail weighs 22.54 kg per meter. They are suitable for medium-light industrial transport loads, such as underground & open-pit mine haulage lines, port yard feeder tracks, factory internal narrow-gauge transit rails, and small industrial mine trolley sidings across Southern Africa.
