9220 Rail Clip
The 9220 rail clip is a dual-bolt welded base type designed for securing heavy-duty crane rails and industrial tracks under extreme loads. Manufactured by Glory Track, a leading rail clip supplier in China, this model ensures strong clamping force, long service life, and reliable performance in demanding rail systems.
Its double M20 captive bolts and welded base fixing provide exceptional stability for crane rail installations exposed to high vibration or side loads.
Features of 9220 Rail Clip
The 9220/20/45 welded base rail clip low-profile design makes it suitable for cranes fitted with guide rollers or systems requiring limited vertical space.
This crane rail clip is designed for long-term use in harsh working environments. The base is welded to the supporting steel structure or soleplate, and the upper parts are hot-dip galvanized for corrosion resistance.
If customers order steel soleplates, Glory Track can pre-weld and galvanize the complete assembly based on customer drawings and project needs.

Installation of 9220 Rail Clip
- Weld Base
Weld the clip base firmly onto the support beam using a 5 mm fillet weld, leaving the edge parallel to the rail unwelded.
Use low-hydrogen electrodes (AWS E7018 or E7028) to ensure strong bonding and prevent weld cracking. - Position Clip
After positioning the rail, place the 9220 rail clip so that the vulcanized rubber block firmly presses against the rail flange. - Insert and Tighten Bolts
Lightly tighten both captive bolts until the rubber block is compressed and the forged clip makes full contact with the base. - Final Torque
Torque both bolts to 350 Nm to achieve a firm, vibration-resistant, and long-lasting rail fixing.
