Installation of TG38 Rail Clamp
Base Welding: Weld the TG38 clamp base to the crane beam using electrodes matched to the material of the base: E4315 for Q235 steel, E5015 for Q345 steel. Ensure a firm bond for heavy-duty operation.
Welding Method: For cranes operating under heavy-duty cycles, use three-sided fillet welds. The weld quality must comply with Grade 3 visual standards, ensuring structural integrity and consistent performance.
Clamp Spacing: Position clamps according to crane lifting capacity:
Up to 275 t: 600 mm spacing between clamps
Above 275 t: 500 mm spacing
Alignment & Safety: Ensure clamps are centered on the beam grooves and aligned with the rail. Verify welding does not introduce distortions or misalignment.
