Installation of W20-221 Rail Clip
- Step 1 – Weld the Base
Position the clip base on the supporting beam and weld using 4 mm fillet welds, leaving the rail-side edge unwelded. Use low-hydrogen electrodes (AWS E7018 / E7028) for high-strength bonding. - Step 2 – Fit the Clip
Place the forged upper clip and ensure the rubber block presses firmly against the rail flange for vibration damping. - Step 3 – Insert and Tighten Bolt
Insert the M20 bolt and washer, lightly tighten until the clip contacts the rail uniformly. - Step 4 – Final Torque
Align the clip precisely by tapping it into position, then torque the bolt to 350 Nm for a secure and stable fixing.
