The customer is a Saudi Arabian heavy equipment integrator that has developed from an early metal fabrication workshop into a comprehensive industrial solution provider.

The company specializes in heavy equipment manufacturing, industrial storage and conveying systems, electrical automation integration, and industrial component supply. With experience in designing and manufacturing customized equipment, the customer required rail components that could meet specific installation requirements for their project.

Project Requirements: S49 Rail System Components

During the drawing review, Glory Track’s engineering team noticed that producing the fishplates exactly according to the original design would result in a slight gap between the fishplate slope and the rail profile.

Although the gap would not affect normal operation, we informed the customer of the potential issue and recommended improving the design. For a better fit, the slope of the fishplate should be consistent with the rail profile.

Instead of directly proceeding with production, Glory Track provided a revised drawing for the customer’s confirmation.

During the same technical communication process, we also discussed the hole positioning at both ends of the rails. Since the customer planned to complete the drilling process at their own facility, the rails were supplied without pre-drilled holes.

Manufacturing and Dimensional Inspection

After production, Glory Track conducted dimensional inspections on the main components of the S49 rail system before shipment.

For additional quality control, the customer arranged a third-party inspection company to supervise the container loading process at the port yard.

The supervision process provided an additional check on packing quality and ensured that all components were safely prepared for international transportation.
