Crane Rails
QU crane rail features a square high-profile cross-section — with equal bottom width and height, specifically engineered for crane runway systems. Compared to standard railway rails, its wider, flat head profile increases the wheel contact area substantially, while the reinforced web thickness delivers significantly higher bending resistance under the lateral forces typical of crane operations. Manufactured to the Chinese standard YB/T 5055-2025 from U71Mn steel with a tensile strength of ≥880 MPa, this heavy-duty crane rail series serves as the primary load-bearing backbone for overhead bridge cranes, gantry cranes, and container handling systems across a broad spectrum of wheel load requirements.

Customization & Special Materials
If your rails need to operate in harsh conditions, such as high-temperature furnaces, chemical plants, or marine environments, standard carbon steel may not meet the requirements. In these environments, crane rails demand higher strength, corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance.
Depending on the specific conditions, heat- and corrosion-resistant stainless steel or high-strength alloy steel rails can be selected.
High-Temperature Environments
For temperatures between 400°C–550°C, 16Mo3 heat-resistant alloy steel maintains excellent strength and stability.
For lighter loads but temperatures above 550°C, 310S stainless steel rails are recommended.
High-Corrosion Environments
In highly corrosive settings (chemical plants, shipyards, port), can choose special alloy steel rails.
Or surface-treated rails (hot-dip galvanized or anti-corrosion painted) for enhanced durability.
We also provide custom-painted rails based on client specifications.
If your rails need to operate in harsh conditions, such as high-temperature furnaces, chemical plants, or marine environments, standard carbon steel may not be suitable. In these environments, high corrosion and humidity can significantly reduce the strength and lifespan of regular carbon steel.
