ASCE RAIL

ASCE Rail is a type of track product specifically developed for railway construction, designed in accordance with the technical specifications issued by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). ASCE rails come in various models, including ASCE25, ASCE30, ASCE40, ASCE50, ASCE60, ASCE70, and ASCE80, where the number indicates the rail weight per yard. These rails are widely used in various railway scenarios such as mainline railways, branch lines, industrial tracks, and other rail transit systems. In addition, ASCE rail is commonly applied in factories, ports, and crane rail systems. Common steel grades include Q235B, 55Q, and U71Mn, which meet the requirements of different load-bearing and handling conditions.

Material & Manufacturing

Material: Common grades include U71Mn and 55Q steel. U71Mn offers higher strength and better wear resistance, making it suitable for tracks with frequent use.

Manufacturing: Produced using hot rolling processes, ASCE rails can be customized in length (6–25 meters) and with drilled holes upon request. Surface treatments such as sandblasting with painting or galvanization are available to enhance corrosion resistance.

Application of ASCE Rails

Due to their lighter weight—such as ASCE 25 at only 12.2kg/m—they are easy to install and adjust. Heavier types like ASCE 85 can also be used in low-speed, heavy-load applications.
