A crane equipment company in Israel recently ordered a customized QU70 crane rail package from Glory Track for one of its lifting equipment projects. The order included rail sections with different end-cut configurations, W116 rail clips, and reinforced rubber rail pads.
The customer specializes in the design, production, and installation of lifting and transport equipment, including overhead cranes, gantry cranes, monorail cranes, and jib cranes.
For this project, the main requirement was not simply supplying a standard rail profile. The rail sections had to be processed to different lengths and end configurations to suit the planned installation.
Customized QU70 Rail Sections
The project required nine QU70 rail sections in five different length configurations:
10.35 m × 2 pcs — single-end angled cut
10.90 m × 2 pcs — double-end angled cut
6.83 m × 2 pcs — double-end angled cut
7.70 m × 2 pcs — single-end angled cut
10.98 m × 1 pc — without end cutting
The variation in length and end treatment allowed the supplied sections to follow the customer’s installation requirements more closely than a shipment based entirely on standard-length rails.

Matching Rail Fastening and Support Components
The rail was supplied as part of a matching track package rather than as a standalone steel product.
The order included 224 sets of W116 short-tongue rail clips, with galvanized components for rail fixing. It also included six rolls of reinforced rubber rail pad, each measuring 7 × 120 × 12,000 mm, providing a total length of 72 m.
The W116 configuration is listed by Glory Track as compatible with QU70 rail and can be used with rail pads in crane rail installations.
For this project, the fastening and support materials were prepared alongside the rail sections so that the customer could receive the main track components together.
Rail and Accessories Packed for Export
After processing and preparation, the rail sections and accessories were loaded for export from Tianjin Port.
The three packing photos show the final loading stage. The rail sections were secured inside the container, while the smaller accessories were placed in a wooden box and fixed in position before the container was closed.
Customer Installation in Israel
Following delivery, the customer shared installation photos from the project site.
The first view shows the QU70 rail positioned directly on the rubber pad, giving a clear look at the rail support arrangement.
A closer view shows the W116 short-tongue clip pressing against the rail flange, with the support pad visible underneath.
The third photo was taken from above and shows several fastening points around the rail joint area. It gives a broader view of the completed fixing arrangement along the track.
Together, the installation photos show how the supplied rail and fastening components were incorporated into the customer’s crane track system.
