Project Overview
Glory Track supplied a complete light railway track system for a 4.5-kilometer scenic train line in a Middle Eastern eco-tourism park. The line connects several attractions and provides a quiet, enjoyable ride through natural landscapes. The client needed a reliable rail system that ensures smooth operation, low maintenance, and adaptability to varied terrain.
The route includes both flat and curved sections, with a minimum curve radius of 35 meters. These conditions required precise rail bending and solid alignment to guarantee a safe, comfortable train journey.
Rail Supply and Technical Details
To meet diverse load and terrain requirements, Glory Track supplied three different rail profiles: 18 kg, 24 kg, and 30 kg light railway tracks for separate sections.
- 18 kg rails were used in straight, light-load areas.
- 24 kg rails were installed on moderate slopes and transition zones.
- 30 kg rails were applied in curved or climbing routes where heavier passenger loads required enhanced strength and stability.
For curved sections, our engineering team performed precision bending according to the client’s drawings, ensuring the rails perfectly matched the designed radius. Matching turnouts were also provided to allow flexible train movement between tracks. All joints were connected using fish plates, black-oxide bolts, and rail clips, forming a durable and corrosion-resistant fastening system ideal for outdoor conditions.
Engineering Adaptation and Installation
Some sections required special treatment due to narrow curves and uneven foundations. Glory Track engineers adjusted cutting lengths and drilling positions based on the site layout, ensuring each rail aligned perfectly during installation.
Prefabricated components and on-site assembly helped reduce construction time and minimize environmental disturbance.

The installation was completed successfully, and the sightseeing train now operates smoothly across all sections.
